Bring out your Mysterious Side and use your imagination
this summer by writing a short story or poem! It can be on any subject, but
must include something about books or reading. The winning entries will be
printed in the Tri-City Herald!
Entries must be 500 words or less
Name, address, phone number, age, and library branch must
be printed on the back of your entry.
If you are under 13, a parent or guardian must sign your
entry to show that you have permission to enter and that your entry is an
original creation.
Age categories are: 0-6 (an adult may write down a
younger child’s words), 7-8, 9-10, 11-13, 14-18.
Contest participants must follow all rules to be judged
in the contest.
All writing contest entries due July 31, 2007.
